As many of you already know I became a new pet owner this past summer, for our anniversary my husband gave me a beautiful Maltese, mixed puppy.  I named him King Henry, as in King Henry of England.  I was introduced to this App called DogLand and asked to try it out.  DogLand is gearing up to be  global network for everything dog, and  I LOVE IT!!!

Breast cancer is not a joke, it's a very serious thing and it's not just women who get breast cancer men get it too. Some days its only about comfort you guys know how I feel about practical outfits especially for the most of us who live in a practical world. I love everything about boyfriend Jeans I don't wear them too often because if they aren't done right you can look sloppy. I went with a nautical look, my striped sailor shirt from H&M, destroyed denim and my bucket bag. I paired the whole thing with my new favorite Shades by Steff, I'm wearing the "Kitty on Fleek" pair Lawd I'm obsessed with them you have no idea.

Is Spring Here yet?

 Has anyone else been experiencing bipolar weather but refuses to wear anymore bulky coats So I've been appropriately layering up. I was determined to wear some shorts but it was a bit windy so I put some knee high socks on, boots and thin leather jacket and was out the door.  This look is perfect for Spring subtract the boots and jacket and boom, you gotta Summer Hit. Eight Things I've learnt Since Ive started my hair Transition journey

I've had my hair relaxed or chemically processed basically my whole life, the very first time my mom brought me to get my hair processed I was so young I had to sit on cushions so the hairdresser could reach me. For years I continued to process my hair, not really thinking about it just going along with it because thats all I knew.  Last September I made the decision to go back to my natural texture, I had been thinking about it for about three months, I have been doing it so far with the help of sew ins since I have decided I'm not doing the big chop and Im letting it grow out instead. Here are a couple of things I've learnt along the way:

Big Hair and High Heels

I've been wearing my hair VERY BIG and I love it!! I get so many stares and too many people coming up to me saying I love your hair.  I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but after about three days I was all about it. I got these sexy shoes from AMI Clubwear and I never  thought I would be  able ro pull them off with a casual everyday look, but I did.

Black and White Statements

 Did I tell you guys how much I am obsessed with all things black and white, when in doubt I put these colors on and I feel alive.  I tried two different shoes on with this look I loved them both, my cross body/Clutch purse is my statement peace here, it has literally added that "Pop" effect to my outfit. Sometimes all you really need is a simple sweater top and a pair of leather pants, throw on some red lipstick and boom - FABULOUS!

Good morning everyone, or whatever time it might be when you're reading this, I want to start by saying if you're currently in a hard place I know we've all been there.  You all know that Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite places in the world, anywhere with an abundance of books and different opinions sets my soul on fire.  I can live without many things but I cannot live without a good book.  I own over a 100 different Ibooks, several books on Nook and I can't even count just how many actual books I own and how many I have loaned out or given away, I love books!!  On several different occasions I went into Barnes and Noble and picked up Diane Von Furstenberg's new book and put it back down, I finally decided to buy it.

Though I couldn't quite understand why Khloe was on that panel she wears nice clothes but I wouldn't say she understands fashion to be a commentator, I didn't agree with some of the comments she made.  But I mean thats life right lol. 57th GRAMMYs - Red Carpet Review (Najeary Bennett)

The most anticipated event for some of our favorite recording artists, record labels, music lovers and fans all over the word, along with the critics finally came - The 57th Annual Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles last night. We all know events like The Grammys is definitely fun to watch while staying in tuned with Twitter, so as a ritual I logged into my account 30min before the Red Carpet event started. 

E annual Red Carpet segment is a must watch for fashion enthusiasts and even mere fans. This is major and whether you are 'into fashion' or not, you will be scrutinized and honey, we will have so many memes, gifs and endless funny tweets to revisit after the event if you ever look a mess. 

I really had to pray for Giuliana Ransic from "Fashion Police" oh the irony - yes my friend, twitter sure had a fun day with her outfit. Can't say I am shocked, I was never a fan of her personal style. Now this might sound a little bitter (sorry not sorry) but, I honestly don't think Guiliana should to be a fashion critic; no sense of style and that's just my opinion. I will be nice to add nonetheless that I am happy for her being a breast cancer survivor *cues Destiny's Child song* but, I think its time for her to get a bucket of chicken and hire a personal stylist  - a very honest one at that.

The entire show seemed to have been all over the place, and as much as I do understand that music has many different genres I really don't think the show had a theme or was even properly segmented. I personally thought we could have been speared a few of those performances.

While I really can't say I was 'slayed' by any particular Red Carpet look, I must say there were a few looks that had us talking on twitter.
